The short version
Neither this website nor the Madrasaty app uses cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The app keeps a few things on your device so you stay signed in, and that's all. That's why there's no cookie banner to click through.
This website
madrasaty.co.uk sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Our fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, and there are no analytics, social media buttons or advertising scripts.
When you send the demo request form, your answers go to Web3Forms, which emails them to us. Sending the form sets no cookies. The privacy notice explains what happens to what you write.
The Madrasaty app
The app uses no cookies either. In a web browser it uses the browser's local storage, and on a phone it uses the phone's secure keychain, to keep these on your device:
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in session | Keeps you signed in, and remembers which madressah and account type it belongs to, so each request goes to the right place. | Until you sign out, or the session ends |
| Your last madressah and account type | Opens sign-in with your madressah already chosen. It doesn't sign you in, and it doesn't include your password. | Until you clear it from your browser or remove the app |
| Light or dark mode | Remembers the look you chose. | Until you change it, clear it from your browser or remove the app |
| Your setup progress | When you first set up a staff account, keeps what you've typed in so far, so you don't lose it if you close the page. | Until you finish setting up or sign out |
All of these are needed for something you asked for: to sign in, to keep the madressah you chose, or to keep a setting you picked. The law allows that kind of storage without asking for consent, so the app doesn't show a cookie banner. You can clear them at any time in your browser's settings, or by removing the app.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or anything else that stores information on your device, we'll update this page first, and we'll ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
